Let's start things off with your generic texting meme! This is the one for all those odd conversations, strange confessions, pictures of Skybison and Platypus Bears - whatever floats your particular boat! For those of you who haven't used one before, here's the rules:

Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, a series of starts, or nothing at all. Let the chaos unfold, and run about texting others!

[ As promised, an hour later, Korra is at Narook's, having ridden Naga through the town with the promise of the meat that Narook will make for her. Her stomach is growling by the time she leaps off outside the shop, patting Naga before she heads inside. ]

Bolin! Where are my noodles?

[pabugotmoves]

Right here!

[Waving from their table. He's got it all ready and he only got a little head start. Like two bowls of noodles and some dumplings. He waves for service and grins.]

Come right on down, join me in my office.

[bend_it_like]

Nice office!

[ Korra laughs and drops down unceremonious, reaching for a dumpling and popping it in her mouth. What are manners? She groans, shaking her head, saying through a full mouth: ]

This is so good. Almost like water tribe food.

We're definitely gonna have to go find out for real some day.

[Watching their food arrive with a grin and eyes the size of plates. This is gonna get messy. Definitely. Bowl after bowl of pure, straight gluttony.

Finally, as they eat,]

You know what Korra, you're the bee's knees, you really are.

[ Korra, mouth full, looks up at him and smiles around her noodles. Swallowing hugely, she says: ]

Yeah? You're great, too, Bolin! I'm really glad we're friends.

[Oh, his heart. That's so warm and gooey and nice. He can't help but smile.]

Me too.

I guess... I just wanted to say how much I appreciate you. We never know what's going to happen so it's important to say how we feel.

[bend_it_like]

Oh. Well, thank you, Bolin.

[ Korra smiles at him, and squeezing his arm before punching him lightly in the shoulder ]

Nothing's going to happen to you, or me! But, I get what you mean. You're important to me too. I appreciate you and Mako so much. I don't think I would be having half as good a time in Republic City if I hadn't met you two.

[pabugotmoves]

Yeah, no, no I know. We're all good, I'm just saying. But you've got that right.

[He laughs, going back to his noodles which he twirls into an enormous ball before forcing it into his mouth. Yep, yep he's got this.]

And-mf, yeah you've got that right. [Swallow]

You'd probably still be in your temple meditating or whatever.

Ugh, I don't want to talk about meditating.

[ She shoves her own wad of noodles into her mouth with a scowl ]

Meditating is such a waste of time! It's like torture!

Correct me if I'm wrong [As he gestures with his chopsticks. So crude, Bolin!]

But It's just a fancy word for falling asleep sitting up, right?

[ That just makes her laugh. She doesn't mind his bad manners at all. It's sort of liberating after spending so long with the White Lotus ]

It is! Meelo just sleeps! Maybe I should do that. It'd be less boring.

You could say whatever dream you had was a vision. You'd sound super in tuuuune with the eleeementsss [Spooky gHoSt sTorY voice as he wiggles his fingers for added effect.]

Not a bad idea... Except them Tenzin would probably want to do some deep research to understand what the vision meant.

[ She groans again, slumping over her noodles ]

[He smiles, commiserating on something he knows nothing about as he rests his cheek in his hand, elbow on the table.]
